The SunRace rear derailleur extender link fits onto your existing frame's hanger, extending it so that you can use larger cassettes. Compatible with single chainring drivetrain and ideal for your gravel bike setup. Typically it will allow a rear derailleur with a maximum sprocket size of say 32t to function with a 36t sprocket, so long as the overall gear capacity (chain wrap) remains within the capacity of the rear derailleur. In some cases it will allow a shorter cage rear derailleur to shift an 11-40t cassette.
